Meet Owner & Interior Designer

Marnie Keilholz

Marnie grew up in Los Angeles, California. Growing up in such a unique and provocative city allowed her to explore and appreciate a variety of artistic styles and expression. The daughter of an engineer she was also given the discipline of practicality and function. She was drawing floor plans and pushing around furniture as soon as she could walk. She has worked in a variety of venues from set design, lettering, painting, artistic finishes, graphic design and interiors. When she met Michael Keilholz, electrician, she became fully interested in how lighting is functional art and what it can do for a space. Together Marnie & Michael created House Blend Lighting & Design in 2006. It can be found in downtown Chippewa Falls in an old brick building which they renovated to become a contributor to the historic downtown.
